History
The Co-Founder of Coverfly is Scot Lawrie. Born in Philadelphia, he is an entrepreneur with experience in economics, company development, and software development. Large, scalable, data-intensive online applications that he conceived, developed, and deployed are currently in use within Coverfly. He started working in sales for a tech firm in New York City right after graduation, but I wasn't very good at it, so Scot got fired. That's when he made the decision to learn how to code. He took free online courses for around six months before landing a job as a software developer and falling head over heels in love with the field. He worked in ad-tech for a few years on heavily trafficked systems that handled massive volumes of data in his hometown of Philadelphia.
