The Black List's most "liked" yearly scripts within industry
The Black List is founded by Franklin Leonard. He got his starts previously working for Leonardo DiCaprio's production firm 12, created the Black List in 2005 The yearly survey of from agents, managers, and producers of popular unproduced screenplays making the rounds in Hollywood. In addition to providing a forum for established and up-and-coming writers to have their work converted to the screen by interested producers, the survey produces a list of excellent scripts that were never produced. Industry executives now use the list to locate screenplays that could be considered production or the next Diablo Cody of the world.
